Directed at all levels of writers, beginner or long-time professional, this presentation relies heavily on the way Ms. Brown approached writing, and explains why the techniques she created over 50 years ago are still applicable today and why her books Goodnight Moon and Runaway Bunny are perennial best selling books. Ms. Gary also talks about the recently published works and unpublished manuscripts by Ms. Brown.

In addition, Ms. Gary will do a Parents and Teachers talk about her work with Ms. Brown's manuscripts:

Treasures in a Trunk: My work with Margaret Wise Brown's unpublished manuscripts

An indepth look at the manuscripts left behind by the prolific author. Ms. Gary shows examples of the unpublished work of Margaret Wise Brown and the detective work involved in getting these work into publication.
